Sunomono Salad
All Hail Rice Wine Vinegar
Ingredients
- 2-3 Japanese or Persian Cucumbers
3 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame seeds
Preparation Instructions
- Slice cucumbers thin.
- Sprinkle with salt, wait 5 minutes, then squeeze cucumbers to remove water. Be firm!
- Mix rice vinegar, sugar, soy sauce until dissolved, then add to cucumbers.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Enjoy!
